About Spanish Studio

Who we are

Spanish Studio is the Spanish-language expansion of French Studio. It grew from the same warm teaching culture in Singapore, for learners who want to use Spanish with confidence: adults starting from zero, children building foundations, students preparing exams, and teams working with Spanish-speaking partners.

We carry French Studio's East Coast experience into a dedicated Spanish school for group classes, private lessons, exam preparation, school support and company training. Classes stay personal: small groups, teacher feedback, and a rhythm that helps students see their progress from one module to the next.

Spanish Studio students learn at East Coast, Novena or online. Some come for travel or conversation, some for DELE, IB or IGCSE, and many families come because they want a steady Spanish pathway for children in Singapore.

A Spanish school with values

The school is focused without feeling stiff. Lessons take pronunciation, grammar, listening and writing seriously, but the atmosphere stays friendly, practical and human. The aim is not only to finish a syllabus; it is to help students enjoy coming back to Spanish every week.

East Coast and Novena centres

Spanish Studio's East Coast centre sits in Katong, surrounded by Marine Parade, Joo Chiat shophouses, cafes and East Coast Park. The classrooms are calm, comfortable and equipped for language work. Novena gives students a central option for weekday and weekend classes, especially when school, office or family schedules make location matter.

International-school support

For families whose children study Spanish at an international school, Spanish Studio can help with continuity, level advice, exam preparation and completion records when the school needs them.

Native and qualified Spanish teachers

The teaching team is made up of native Spanish speakers and qualified Spanish educators with experience in Spanish as a foreign language, school support and exam preparation. Teachers correct, explain, encourage and adapt, so learners practise actively instead of only listening to a lesson.

Why learn Spanish?

At Spanish Studio, people learn Spanish for many different reasons: a child’s first language routine, an IB or IGCSE exam, a family connection, a move abroad, work, travel or simply the joy of speaking another language well.

For international-school students

Spanish can become part of a child’s long-term education when they study it through school, IB Spanish, IGCSE Spanish or another assessment route. Families often need continuity, feedback and a class rhythm that can follow the child across school years.

For exam confidence

Students preparing for DELE, IB Spanish, IGCSE Spanish or school assessments need more than extra vocabulary. They need practice, timing, oral confidence, writing structure and feedback that fits the exam.

For adults starting properly

Adult beginners often want a clear route into Spanish without feeling lost after the first few lessons. A steady course helps pronunciation, grammar and conversation grow together, so students can keep going beyond the first module.

For children with Spanish exposure

Some children already have Spanish from home, travel or a previous school. Placement guidance helps them avoid a group that is too easy while still strengthening reading, writing, speaking and vocabulary.

For work and relocation

Professionals learn Spanish for assignments, client relationships, company training, relocation or future study abroad. Lessons can focus on the situations they really need, instead of abstract textbook scenes.

For life in and beyond Singapore

Spanish becomes easier to maintain when it has a local routine. Studying at East Coast, Novena or online gives learners regular contact with teachers and classmates while connecting them to Spanish-speaking cultures worldwide.

Learning Spanish with us

Our mission

Spanish Studio exists to make Spanish learning clear, lively and sustainable. Students should leave class knowing what they practised, what improved, and what to try next.

Our vision

We want Spanish Studio to be the place in Singapore where learners of different ages and nationalities can build a real relationship with Spanish: for school, work, family, travel, exams or simple pleasure.

Our teaching approach

Classes are built around guided speaking, listening, reading and writing. Teachers use conversation, role play, course books, correction and cultural context so students understand how Spanish works and dare to use it.

A welcoming team

A good language class depends on trust. Our team keeps the classroom approachable, answers questions carefully and helps students feel comfortable making mistakes, because that is where progress starts.

Spanish and Latin American culture in class

Language is easier to remember when it connects to real places, food, music, films, travel and everyday habits. Spanish Studio brings culture into class so learners discover more than vocabulary lists.
